True to his word, Kerr returned to this customer the next day with new partner Luke.

Whilst the customer was not able to be there, she was more than happy for them to crack on with a few jobs. Firstly, it was to finish the painting of the garden furniture and then on to painting the large wooden fence at the bottom of the garden.

The boys were in, did the jobs, cleared up and out within 4 hours.

Meanwhile, at the other end of Kippen, Kerr and Caleb were keeping the painting theme alive. Taking a more colourful approach than the previous fences and stables, judge for yourself the cracking job they made of this garden set. Absolutely phenomenal work achieved at a bargain price! 

The customer wrote, "The boys have done a brilliant job" and promptly asked if they would come back to do her garden fence. Kerr has already organised it and will go back tomorrow to make a start on it. Outstanding service.

...then on to moving boxes in Balfron

This was our biggest squad out so far, and teamwork really did make the dream work.

112 metres of wooden fence really needed some care and attention to give it a few more years' use. When this job was booked two weeks ago the weather forecast was changeable; with this in mind, and the sheer size of the task, the team threw everything at it - many of the boys giving up shifts from their own work to commit to it.

The task involved giving the fence a quick rub down, a solid coat of paint and weeding both in the car park and the restaurant garden. We were in and out in just 4 and a half hours - absolutely incredible teamwork. A massive shout out to Logan, Kerr, Euan, Joseph, Ruairidh, Caleb, Johnny, Alex, Luke, Cal, Archie and David.

Tasked with moving a significant amount of timber for a new resident of Killearn, the boys stuck to the job in blistering heat. They kept the spirits high right into the fourth hour of work when they would probably have preferred to be relaxing on a hot Sunday. The customer reported that "the boys were brilliant - they all put a good shift in. The banter was pretty decent too!"

When Archie and Logan were invited to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon in a beer garden, it wasn't what they were hoping for...

Grabbing the opportunity that the long period of dry weather has brought us, a local landlord asked for our help in sprucing up his garden fence. The boys did well, getting through 14m of fence in just a couple of hours. Well done to both of them, but particularly Logan for whom this was the fourth job in just three days.

Logan and Cal had yet another day of working out in the hot summer weather, giving yet another garden a makeover. 

Another very happy customer remarking how impressed she was with their strength in moving heavy logs and tree trunks with ease and speed. The before and after photos give just a glimpse of their handiwork!

After the success of other team mates in this customer's garden a few weeks ago, Euan and Caleb had big shoes to fill. They were worked hard in the heat and as the customer put it "no need for them to go to the gym after that". 

The team for today consisted of six volunteers - Peter, Logan, George, Euan, Kerr and Caleb. They worked excellently in pairs to cover a massive range of tasks set by the customer. 

Ruairidh and Blane teamed up to help a customer in Kippen chop up a load of kindling wood he had stored up over the winter. Boys, axes and saws were a great combination as they set off at a great pace. 

The customer commented on their good manners and politeness, saying "They were great". The boys loved the home made biscuits they were given.

David and Joseph popped in to an exciting new venture (a budding flower farm) to do some preparation work ahead of a big squad visit on Saturday. It involved moving a pile of bark onto flowerbed paths and cutting up some fallen branches to make moving them easier at the weekend.

This was Sandy's first opportunity to get involved in the Odd Jobs and what a baptism it was for him! He and Magnus took on the dirtiest and smelliest job experienced by the team so far; clearing a polytunnel in Callander.

Despite putting in a strong 5 hour shift each, there's still more for them to go back for... let's see who in the team steps up to finish the job!

Magnus and Luke took up the first shift of a new partnership in the most beautiful garden in Killearn. Two hours on their knees pulling every little weed was their task to keep this customer's garden looking amazing. Check out the before and after photos. Well done, lads.

This was our largest squad so far that has been sent out on one job. Logan, Johnny, George, Alex and Joseph spent the full day at the beautiful Keltie Bridge Caravan Park in Callander. 

Sampling a wide range of tidying and grounds maintenance tasks, they go stuck in to everything that was given them. As has become the norm, the compliments were forthcoming from a very happy customer "they have honestly been amazing, working brilliantly and getting lots done."

They boys have already been booked up to go back and do some fence painting in the coming weeks.

This was a return visit made by Cal, Logan and Kerr. More weeding of a gravel path, more tedious work for the boys on their day off from their own paid summer jobs. But we are hugely grateful to these loyal customers for their continuing support of us. Thank you!

Again, a customer that is very happy with the boys' work and has offered regular summer work for any of the boys if they want it.

Three hours toil after a long day at school, shows the determination of these players to raise money for their team mates.

Another happy customer who posted on social media "Thoroughly recommended. Really impressed with the work two of the rugby club guys did for us... An absolutely life saver for me!"

Euan and Donald spent four hours sweeping and cleaning someone's long lane in Callander. Check out the before and after photos! The customer said "They did an amazing job, going above and beyond. I'd like to request monthly maintenance from them if possible".
